Facilities at VIT-GOA:

VIT is currently located in the University library building at Academic Staff College (ASC) premises. It uses ASC classrooms ( air conditioned) for conducting lecture sessions but it has an independent computer laboratory with 17 work seats and Internet facility. It has NT server and Linux server, laser printer and a dot matrix printer. All the computers in the lab are connected through a network and the entire network is supported on 15 KVA UPS. The laboratory facilities are kept open to students on all days including Sunday for 12 hours from 9 AM to 9 PM. A full time administrative coordinator and a clerk manage the center. Fulltime MCA programmers are appointed to handle the laboratory sessions. The primary responsibility of these programmers is to assist the students in carrying out programming and project assignments.

Library Facility : VIT has build a small library of Books over a period of time. These books can be used for reference only.

Hostel Facility : Goa University Hostel facility is made available to VIT students on request.

Internet Connectivity : Students have a limited access to internet. Internet is made available to the students for one or two hours a day.
